I'd probably say the same "back in the day" but current consoles taught us that the most powerful system doesn't have to be the best choice, after everything that happened with PS3 I'd say I'll wait to see how things develop and then go with the system that has a healthier scene.

In case that came out wrong and before you call me a stinking pirate, I just want to say that piracy has nothing to do with it and it means nothing to me since I can afford to buy games. Thing is, I always believed homebrew is an important part of ANY system and I like having features it brings, especially the ones that were removed (for any reason) or weren't even planned and PS3 just taught me a valuable lesson - I don't want to get to the point where I have to wait for mercy from some future Dramaths, buy some future True Blues and stuff like that.

I can't wait for all of them ps vita - wii u - Xbox 720 - PS4! All to add to my console collection! I hope the Xbox 720 comes next year followed by ps3 a few months later

The line-up Microsoft had was very small. All I could think of last year was Halo, Gears, and Froza 4. While with Sony, we had Little Big Planet, Killzone, Infamous, Resistance, GT4 (2010), and many others. I believe Microsoft will learn and at least get as many exclusives as Sony; but as for their current, only Gears was interesting.

lbp 1 was amazing while 2 was meh, i could never get into the resistance games the forza games **** on gt(from what i have heard), i hear mixed things on killzone, eveyr thing i heard about infamous was good. tbh all the old exclusive that sony still has they are running into the ground(r&c are great examples and i love that series) then again ms is doing that with halo( i like the sp of halo has a good story but the mp is meh). the thing is thought that the cross platform games usually play better on the 360 over the ps3 and i have a feeling it will be that way on the next gen systems as sony will end up making their system not dev friendly

How can you, before having experienced it, state the Wii U as a joke?
It is a new concept with the controller.. different to Move/Wii/Kinect, so I cannot see where your assumptions stem from?

Until you have experienced the controller, and seen how it will be used, and for what uses, that is.

I myself found it odd, but I have honestly no idea, in what direction it will go. It was blocky in its design, but I cannot help think, the big on-controller screen can show some good uses.

If it is only based on the hardware your thought, its rendering capabilities is better than the current generation.

I think the next xbox is doomed to be 2nd best, if hd-dvd had been successful I'd be inclined to agree.

MS should of never agreed to back HD-DVD, that was a move that may come back to haunt them.
