Not really an excuse of fanboyism.
I work/worked for Sony but still my opinion about them now that I know how things are from the inside part, my negative opinion about them is enforced.
If they are a**holes in the video gaming scene the last 2-3 years in music they have been for atleast 5 but the last 2-3 years, I had a discussion with a famous artist I won't reveal his name that he told me exactly what I thought one day: "...seriously if Sony was the only music label/company on the planet I would have changed my job and leave my career back with no second thought, it's really unpleasant working with them, they are full of bad surprises and bad management of any kind, all that stuff make your work and life harder for no reason."
