carldenning: Hmmm, random question that probably makes no sense, but, theoretically speaking, would it be possible to essentially tricking the PS3 console into believing that it's signature is equal to 'null'. And even if so, would this render all of the PS3's software invalid, or would it actually just trick the PS3 into thinking every app has been officially signed?

Again, I know that method probably makes little to no-sense, but, won't hurt to ask .

We do, you should use the correct terms to make sense and debugging is wrong.
Debugging, decrypting, developing, reverse engineering and PUPExploding is not even near terms.

So you are saying that it is physically impossible to debug a PS3 console ? You are kidding me right? So you think Sony released the PS3 and did absolutely no debugging? It may not be possible for the public to do so, but, don't tell me that debugging a PS3 console sounds like malarky, because every gaming console, and electronic device for that matter has it's software and hardware debugged at some point to some kind of extent . . . You are aware that the only consoles that are able to do that are not publicaly available right? Because you don't seem to. I doubt that there are more than 2-3 people/devs on PS3 scene that own a Debug console and I doubt that even one of them is anymore active at all. Also what you specifically say in your tittle means that those people need to have an even more rare piece of hardware like a TOOL console (which is equiped with some hardware for that purpose that retail PS3's lack) that I doubt at all that more than a couple have leaked outside of in-house use around the whole globe.
To create a CFW or a homebrew you can implement diagnostics, which is not debugging.
That's my point.

when u say trick it makes me think of somethink like a backflip . but there always a glitch in every think u just need to look and u can make it do what u want basic but the promble is finding the glitch . if like picking a needal from a haystack . a lot of time , all my info is what i lernt of the years is from others , and researching ,

What it sounds like here is he wants to glitch the system. Something like the 360 reset glitch hack. Though we can use progskeet to dump the nand, you still need a way to debug the nand which I think you need keys to decrypt the nand if I'm nor mistaken...

You would need that:

Practically and theoritically, if somebody has this model Sony is in huge trouble since you can flash freelly the Southbridge and monitor everything happening on the chain of trust of the PS3 at any firmware, whilst, instant CFW to any firmware and this is equally impossible for Sony to patch as if we could have lv0 and bootldr access to our retail PS3s. The day that you would do that I bet Sony would start of again with the crazy lawsuits, this time involving official Sony developers aswell.
