do you think that kakaroto´s ¨soft jailbreak¨is our only chance to get a 3.6+ cfw some time in the future? (note: do not mention the tb dongle, so tired of ppl arguing about it or to get another ps3) with all the devs have have left and no other breaking news on the ps3 it seems kakaroto is our only hope.

I cant wait till kakaroto releases this method, I just hope it isn't exploited by these dongle makers in a way they make even more money off their piece of **** dongles.

I definitely would have to disagree that kakarotok is our ONLY hope, but, he definitely seems to play an important role in this... But again, he's not the only developer, or person who may just happen to stumble upon an exploit.

Yes thats a given, but I doubt anyone else will risk comming forth with the know how given Sony's track record for smiting martyrs in the scene.

Sorry his HEN will not help you. It is not CFW, it will not lead to CFW, there will be no syscalls, there will be no games in pkg format unless we can already resign the eboots. You will not be able to use any homebrew that needs certain syscalls. it is for the people who enjoy emulators and the homebrew games like the one Kakaroto has ported and the work by thatotherdev. i.e "homebrew that nobody cares about" or in other words my favorite homebrew.

TL:DR give up hope if you are expecting a CFW (modified firmware with syscalls) from KaKaRoTo. he has no interest in enabling piracy on new firmware

remeber people kakaroto hen will only let homebrew run . u will not beable to play back up games with this . maybe one day we will be bale to but kakaroto is not doing that. someone else will have to do that part . thats if its possiable to run back up . kakaroto is justr homebrew eg showtime, emulaters. file mangers, homebrew games . no backups as kakaroto dont care about backups

There won't be a one day... if new back-ups were possible on his HEN they would have been possible on 3.55 a long time ago
