Like I said earlier if you have the "install packages" tab then you are on CFW

Use Rogero NoBD CFW, this hs the bd checks disabled, but its til best to get a new drive they are only 40-60pounds an since you got the ps3 for 10$ your still getting a bargain :P


If i was your mate i would have bought a new drive 1st and then sold it for £200+ since its really low firmware

I still havent checked it, all I did was installed the FW and unhooked it, I will double check it tomorrow and order me a new drive...

I dont really know this guy, I meet him at a storage auction and he told me he had 4 or 5 PS3 all the same way so im going back to buy the rst of them tomorrow...

Yeah if you can get a few that are on 3.55 or lower firmware cheap I would buy them in a minute.
