I don't have any problem with cobra whatsoever. it brought new features and most importantly did not add DRM to somebody else's existing work.

if deank worked for them that's his call. there would be no shame in it and no need to deny it IMO

Sh1tty? No, by no means. Developed by Deank? Most of it for sure is created by Deank (almost all of it), the parts that Cobra added though also might have been created by Deank. This mm fork is basically the mm you know and love with more features and I really see no reason not to update to it. Unless you have a deep hatred for all dongle related releases, even free ones that anyone can use.

I got a feeling dean new how to get ps2 games working without
the dongle then told the cobra devs and they paid him out after all he did get the psx
working if so its hes choice i wont complain

Its the lieing and denying that is p*ssing me off, if he had said that it was his work from the beginning, i would have had no problem, after all he worked hard on perfecting it, he deserved a little bit of a pay cheque, but he didn't have to lie.

You may not have had a problem with it, but look around the 'scene' and you will see that a lot of people would have flamed him whatever he did. I see no personal insult in what he may or may not have done.

It's his choice whatever he did or did not do and lets be realistic here, we are talking about a games console that he created a bit of software for, not some medical breakthrough etc.

This is my point I am trying to make, why is the community here a bunch of sheep, no its not ok that he sold out and lied to the comunity, no its not ok that he knew so much about hidden features and sold him self out, but everyone still treats him like a god in worship, its beyond crazy.

All the scene has turned into is a auction whoever can make the most money from its user base, and who can hold back the most information to themselves to see for profit, all the ps3 devs are in this auction house and that is the main reason why the ps3 scene is so rubbish and fails.

This sounds like a dev on the Cobra team got conscientious objection, otherwise Cobra wouldn't let non Cobra users enjoy this new release
