Are you sure your games are on the FAT32 partition? Can you access them with multiMANs file manager? You can try and delete the files options.ini, options.bin and options_default.ini from /dev_hdd0/game/BLES80608/USRDIR/ and then reinstall the latest version of multiMAN (available from first post)

Have you tried to put something on the root of your external HDD , like a .pkg and see if you can detect it from the ★ Install Package Files on XMB? Maybe the problem is with your external HDD, does it have its own power supply?

nikeymikey, I found a solution, now that the games appear in the list when I press "refresh", I'm using Hermes to play the games with big files from the external hd.
And yes. It's an usb external hd.

Anyone know if it's possible to shadow copy games located on external HD? I want to install the XMB Game Launchers but I don't use my internal HD to store games. I know it's possible with games on internal but haven't read anywhere if it is possible with external. Any info on how to create .pkgs for games on External would be appreciated.

No, it is NOT crapware. mmCM 4.0.0 is a fantastic piece of software...
even if you don't have a Cobra dongle.

It doesn't support the old themes... you have to use mmTM to convert your current themes. Or wait until someone convert the existing ones.

It's better to do a clean install (delete multiMAN and install mmCM FULL)... otherwise you will have a mess of files in mmCM's folder (BLES80608). But deleting multiMAN from XMB will also delete the cached files from games with files >4GB. So, before remove multiMAN from XMB, backup the cached files/folders that you want to keep. It will also delete BDEMU and the old themes, but they are not longer needed. :D

something I noticed since 02.09.xx is the ability to play mkv files from DVD-R is not working... I just updated to 04.00 and still has the same issue... I'm going back to ol'reliable 02.07.07 until this issue is resolved...

in 02.09/04.00 you don't even see the BD/DVD option under video even when you clearly have a dvd in the drive... and if you run showTIME it shows the file but you get an error...

the error reads: Unable to open resource file:///dev_bdvd/xxx.mkv Unable to probe file: libav error -1 in showTIME...
