It sucks...but it still isn't the same as SOPA. SOPA says that the US is allowed to block sites in foreign countries, to foreign users...simply because so much of the internet runs through US servers. In addition, the dutch don't have much in the way of websites that foreign countries want (other than the pirate bay)...if the US gets SOPA, the whole world loses YouTube and Wikipedia, to name just a couple of the big ones.

The USA started the internet, own the majority of private ip addresses. I think USA pretty much does what it wants when it comes to the internet and how it should be used. There is no doubt in my mind they will pass this law here because homeland security is in charge of internet domain. They have constantly tried to shut down adthe. They basically steal their domain address. Adthe just gets a new one. This has been going on for a couple years now. Funny thing is now they require Google to take it out of search results. But if you read the section at the bottom of the results about the complains, all of the blocked sites are listed. Our government here in the USA is so f'ING corrupt, but people are blind to what they do or just don't care because their lives are so busy twitting and facebooking I guess. Sorry its atdhe

@ZOMBIEKILLAH , this site http://www.youhavedownloaded.com/ is just like any other site/server which logs ip numbers and by ip they can find in which country you live in, unless you are like me and have a dns server with a vpn client, and somethimes i alsow use a proxy, just if ppl are tracking me down they can't track me down , screw BREIN and SOPA, mpaa etc.... you just need to know how to protect your pc/connection.

I been using proxy for 20+yrs now + i use a paid version of Hide ip platinum. I am not worried .They don't have me logged, but they logged my friend I still do not trust that site. It was not there before ,they should not be logging everything people download .That look very suspicious,cause they logged the exact files my friend downloaded ,not all of them but some .
