There has been a lot of FAN RAGE about mmCM 4.0.0. I may be VERY new to this stuff, but here's what I've been able to find out.

1) mmCM is a fork of deank's multiman. Proof: http://www.ps3hax.net/showpost.php?p...&postcount=104
2) mmCM 4.0.0 claims to work with all dongles, cFWs etc. This is not entirely true; for one, the bundled BDRESET does not work on my 3.55-kmeaw.
3) As useful as the additional Cobra-ish features are, even without having a Cobra dongle, mmCM 4.0.0 is not as polished as deank's original release. I've encountered a couple of glitches: one was a crash while deleting data off USB, another was it once confused the internal drive for my USB drive. I expect these will not occur for all users.
4) The update file for mmCM in deank's post (at time of comment writing) does NOT work if you try to update from mm 2.09. It first complains that files are missing, and it will almost certainly hang completely before you are able to return to XMB.

So basically, if you don't already have a Cobra, what you need to do for mmCM 4.0.0 is:
1) Delete your existing mm
2) Install the FULL package
3) Reinstall bdemu
4) Do not install the additional packages bundled with mmCM; these only work with Cobra USB (I assume)
5) Take a chill pill with a nice iced chocolate

Otherwise, just do the standard thing with deank's multiman.

totally agree with you but you missed one point which is that all updates and features doesn't work without the cobra usb dongle BUT ALSO WITHOUT THE CFW 3.55 of COBRA: we need both and even if you have their dongle, updates/fonctions of CObra (psp ps2 and iso and even multidisk) won't work if you don't have their CFW of CObra

hence their is no interest to release a mmCM for all firmwares if this mmCM is not compatible with their dongle CObra whatever te Firmware as stated in their release, YOU HAVE TO INSTALL THEIR CFW otherwise you have the same fonctions,the same version of v2.9. which we should re-install this one?

it is said to be a Cobra-Dongleless version but not a cobra-CFWless which is dependant to the dongle for those updates and fonctions cited in the changelog from v2.9; It is totally useless for owners or not-owners of DOngle CObra because the CFW cobra is compulsory and who has the CFW of cobra without the dongle? I guess nobody or if someone I am curious to know the interest of it lol

I guess you miss the point that unless you were using cobra you weren't able to use versions 3.x and now with 4 you can use it on kmeaw.

Reading the changelog you can see a lot of things added so I don't think it is useless:

Code:
* Added TextViewer in File Manager (supported files colored in light blue). Supports viewing of ANSI/UTF plain text files.
* TextViewer controls: L1/R1 - PageUp/PageDown, L2/R2 - zoom out/in (50%-250%), R3 - change font, UP/DOWN/LEFT/RIGHT - scroll/pan, L1/R1+SELECT - skip to start/end of file
* Added support for browsing Video, Games, Favorites and Retro ROMS in "Coverflow" display mode. Change content mode with UP/DOWN.
* Support for *.0/.31, *.001/.032, *.66600/.66631 split file formats
* Join split files in file manager (select and copy the first file to get the rest joined)
* Added support for copying big (4+GB) files in File Manager to USB drives. multiMAN will split source file when copying to USB.
* New display mode "XBDM" - XBOX Dash Clone
* Added "Showtime Font Preference" option to select 10 different fonts for SHOWTIME media player (GUI and Subtitles)
* Improved "Coverflow" display mode
* Added function "Create ISO from folder"
* Improved scanning for retro roms/iso and covers (populating the Retro column)
* New THEME format (.thm). One theme - one file. Easy installation within multiMAN without going to XMB to install theme pkg files.
* mmTM - Easy to use PC application to create thm files from folders (separate download).
* multiMAN will try to read disc volume labels and display in VIDEO column (BD/DVD entry) and in other display modes.
* Added indication (rotating refresh icon next to the column icon) when multiMAN is loading/extracting title thumbnails (XMMB mode)
* Added pop-up notifications when new versions of multiMAN and Showtime are available for download
* Added pop-up notification when running low on disc space (less than 1GB on internal HDD)
* Added pop-up notification when multiMAN successfully connects to nethost folders during startup (/net_host# in File Manager)
* Added support for downloading themes in a background thread (pop-up messages will notify user when download starts and completes)
* Added shortcut (virtual folder) "XMB Video Files" when browsing HDD/USB drives in VIDEO column
* Added music playback fade-out when leaving multiMAN
* Added download progress indication in XMMB/XBDM modes - Web column. An entry will show current download filename and percentage of completion.
I also noticed a lot of things not described in the changelog like a new menu when copying a game, insert/eject disc, faster loading of the background image PIC1 for games, etc. If you don't like these just stick with 02.09.02.

I personally tested 4.00.00 and can't see anything broken or any bugs.

I updated multiman via web in the multiman´s menu, and i not have any problem in Rebug 3.55

Basic Theme and wave.divx

Works fine.
I put my translation and all is OK
I don't have any bug.

Only one, but i think this isn't a problem.
I have new folders, and these contains repeated files for showtime for example.

Regards.
