but only official pkgs you can use 3.55 keys but you still need the NPDRM algorithm to sign them to work

You can sign using 3.55 keys to run on higher firmwares but you'll have to do it the way sony does :P

PS3 uses AES, not MD5. The second file must differ in few places - according to Wikipedia, they've created two NEARLY THE SAME files with identical MD5 hashes, but there were 6 differences, both were 1024 bytes long. You can't just change the hash as you like, it would take years of bruteforcing just one PKG. Also such PKG, even if it would have the same MD5 would be broken anyways, as you must change few bytes in it.
This would also allow only piracy, as there is a whitelist of apps, which can run using older keys - which means no homebrew allowed - and I don't think that's okay. But that's just my opinion, dongles are only about piracy nowadays...

Wrong, just look at COBRA, it has ps2 and psp iso and cso support, but it works perfect on old fat bc models of europe, like mine cechc04, and thats a big plus for me, my ps2 broke down and i have so mutch backups and want to play those again, and most of them are ruined thx to my bro,

i don't own any dongle but it would be great if a cfw comes out with iso cso support psp and ps2,

it leaked a while ago but it's only useful for those with convert job ps3s or real dex units. so it's not really all that interesting and it is not useful

Debug was released by sony the 10th january....so one week ago... and not seen on web...not seen on ps3hax...
