Graphic is an important thing in video games but I know many games that have no awesome graphic but still great and ENTERTAINER.

I really feel sorry for you because you'll miss lots and lots of titles that made gaming what it is today. As for wondering how people can play old games, I'll try to explain it to you - there was a magical time (probably before you were born) when games took more than 2 hours to complete, they didn't look too pretty but they made up for it in storyline, gameplay, replay value and other things. Yes, believe it or not, people played games before Call of duty 14.

At the moment I'm replaying Silent Hill 1 off PS1. Yes, it's ugly. Yes, blood in the game is just a bunch of red pixels. Yes, you can count the number of polygons using just your fingers. Yes, there are games on phones and MP3 players today that look way nicer. But I don't care because they're not Silent Hill and GRAPHICS DON'T MATTER.

If you still don't get it, don't worry about it. In 15 years or so, you'll be the old fart like me trying to explain why people play old games to some other kid that thinks gaming "started" on the day he/she picked up a controller for the first time.

I don't know but I can only assume since I have some cousins that share your opinion on older games so I'd say you're probably in your early teens. I could be wrong, you could be older just started playing games later or something but this particular opinion is common amongst kids, everybody that's 20-ish or so usually has some old (and ugly for today's standards) games that they love and still want to play.

i started gaming when "dizzy" and "manic miner" were top notch graphics

this one was my childhood favourite and its almost sad to say but i enjoyed playing these games more, than i enjoy many now

ok i will tell you the exact age is 27,so i remember those nes snes sega and stuff like that but for me those games dont mean anything,and anything that gets obsolete,that is how i am,i disregard all that was i am interested in things that will be,so in near future i will have the same opinion for the ps3,for me if it is not the latest does not mean a lot i am ready to pay good money just to have the newest stuff,so having top notch graphics is the most important thing to me

I refuse to believe you're only 2 years younger than I am. I'm not calling you a liar, I just can't believe people like you exist out there. The fact that you're 27 and you don't know what nostalgia is makes me feel sorry for you, like I said. Not just as a gamer but as a human being.

well if that was true you would own a high end gaming PC not a PS3 with it's low-res textures and low frame rate, and it's low resolution (most games are only 720p)

yeah that is it man never lie never cheat,no nostalgia here just love to have the newest stuff and as i said i waste lot of money on that,the consoles are one thing they come and go every 5-6 years,but imagine how much money i waste on other stuff like android phones,LCD's,LED's,ans pc stuff,i am obsessed,i must have the newest things
