SAME 2 PS3 NAND SWAP

Hi i have two ps3 CECH04 60gb that have both the COK-002 MOBO the first console is working but have the 3.60, the second have the YLOD and have the 3.41.
The question is can i swap the NAND chips from the two consoles so the result will be a working ps3 with 3.41.
THANKS

I think that you cant do this cause the nand chip is attached to mobo. You better fix the YLOD one cause here at ps3hax is a very detailed guide on how to fix it and a list of all the things you will need

thanks for the quick reply
the ps3 that have the YLOD had been repaired many times and after many tries following the guide i cant get it to work anymore so my solution is to remove the nand chips from it and solder them to the other working ps3 so that i get the 3.41 on the working one

You can actually detach the chip, If you have very fine skill in soldering and a steady hand then it shouldn't be a big deal. The main problem would be burning the chip. Even then i believe you would have to reformat the PS3 harddrive VIA PC.

Have a look and inspect the MOBO's, It will be a mission and a half i tell yah. And probably not worth it if you're going to give up after 10minutes.
