This was a tech demo, they said they have no plans on doing any game based on that game (remake/spinoff) and despite the high demand from the audience they will let that game retire.

Eh... I guess a XIII remake would be cool. Don't care if it ever comes out though. I'd rather have a Resident Evil 1 remake and not that crappy Gamecube one. Or a a GTA Vice City remake. Those would be cool.

Dam dude your fast lol, but yeah the first showing of the final fantasy 7 clip on PS3 is like VIRGIN KLM said a tech demo, but that was what 2006, there has then been back and forth statement and that is what brought up the confusion I think of people questioning its potential release or not but personally I believe its not going to come, and if it does its not going to be within a reasonable time frame.

I'd go for something like a conker's bad fur day remake .

Well if I'm not mistaken, this is from Crysis Core which is a spinoff of FFVII.
They clearly said that they don't want to milk so much a game and they prefer to move on with new projects and that this game already recieved too much love from their team (meaning that it has so many spinoffs for just one storyline).

Instead of talking talking they should remake Kingdom Hearts series on PS3 or they should atleast release a Remastered collection for the PS3 since 2012 is the 10th anniversary of the first Kingdom Hearts, well, I bet they will announce something that has to do with that sooner or later either way, but seriously Square Enix is one of the slowest companies ever on announcements, developing and releases, exactly the opposite of Activision which are both a bad thing. What is it taking them soooo long? PS3 is nearly at it's rise and they are yet to do a tittle for it...

You have luck, Square Enix said that if they were about to make PSP remasters on PS3 , which is a very appealing option for them, they would def do Crysis Core and Kingdom Hearts: Birth By Sleep. So if they ever make PSP remasters Crysis Core will be a debut tittle.
