None taken, I thought of the idea, and we did it to help graf with his research, that's when / how it was started. As i stated it was just supposed to be an anonymous releasing tool for the ps3 devs. It turned into something entirely different though. Not saying anything relating to math other then what I have. I'm leaving at that.

Im starting to envy the Cobra Dongle users... the scene is still slow moving yet i still have faith on it.. but i really hate the drama parts.. time to go back on my legit ps3.

Can't understand that all the normal users mostly moan about what has to be done or isn't being done.
Some people (devs) are willing to stick their neck out, but they also have a life besides this scene. Some other devs were sued by Sony (imagine you being sued by such an organisation), other devs got better and hold a nice job at another big company. Big deal.

Just wait, be patient and really.. don't moan, the devs aren't willing to release anything that way! With our support and gratefulness instead of nagging they might be somewhat.. more willing?

Look at what we are now: you can play a lot of games, also new games from PSN (thanks to the great Duplex team, EXEtrimall and Timoshenko and iND).

I have so much games on my PS3 (500 gb internally and 500 external) that I can play the next coming years finishing them all.. Besides that my girl friend is very happy with playing old school SNES/NES/Gameboy games on a FULL hd screed! (LOL)

Let's support our devs instead of kicking them in the head!

And that's the problem, you end up having kids who think hackers are out there working full time to bring them free stuff. And when there is no release they run a tantrum.
you have some devs who ask for donations, but then these same kdis think they these donations mean they are paying them to make a release, and again when there is no release they run another tantrum.

They probably think that like the xbox, once it was hacked and future update would have update hacks pretty quickly. Whilst with the PS3 the first new update blocked everything and since then noone has made a free release. It's all become about having to buy the latest dongle, where the dongle itself doesnt really do anything except force ppl to keep using the dongle.

But for now the best thing for the scene would be for the dongle scene to end, who knows how much of the work put into them has been stolen from other devs.

Er and back to the topic .... does this actually work on a ps3 slim? meaning has anyone with cobra and a slim ps3 tested a ps2 game (from HD/Disc) and got it working, I doubt it but do hope I'm wrong

I can tell you that a lot of graf's work was put into them sadly. The people complaining about no releases, keep asking about them and that's the problem. This is just our hobby, that is really all. donations are donations for a reason, they do not guarantee that the person will _ever_ finish their work, but it helps give them motivation to do it. I can't even begin to explain how it feels to get a donation for the work i've done to know someone is appreciating it. That alone makes me actually work harder on the releases / work i've been doing lately. Patient is virtue, when they overstep it and get things that they want sooner then later, it makes the later happen. =\ As I've said, there are groups / people out there still working on the ps3, some do not want to be known, and some are making people notice them as well. Give it time, good things will happen eventually. The dongles will be a thing of the past, but until then sit back and relax.

Also propered, it's already been confirmed awhile back that ps2 games can be loaded on slims via the cobra dongle. they work rather slowly though, and far from perfect from what i've seen so far though.
