hi again,

I open my ps3 to do unbrick tutorial and was sucessfull, now i flash with my backup and the ps3 work again. Now i try to reflash with E3_Downgrande and after this my ps3 works like brick console ( turn on and after 1 second turn off automatic) , i put the E3 Card Reader and try to enter in factor mode but the console turn off without enter in factory mode. I have to update de E3 Card Reader before to use ???? when i try to put in factory mode just the number 6 is up and the others is down.
I just can use the console again if i recover the backup of NOR.

bad new i lost a good backup of my 4.0 nor .bin file, where i can find a good one??? the file that i have when i pass into e3 checker show that have some errors, my console have sansung nor CECH 2511a

E3 Flasher is Powered by the Nor attached to the clip of 3.3V Pin. Therefor The Ribbon attached to the TF Board is what powers the E3 so check that make sure a good connection.

How did you loose your backup? I dont really understand what your saying.
I do understand that you unbricked your console using the E3 unbrick solution and I assumed you update to 4.00 working console?

Now tried to downgrade to 3.55 correct?

i delete the backup 4.0 nor by accident AND NOW A TRY TO RECOVER reflashing the ps3 with other file that ps3 make (restore process), now my console after reflashing can turn off by clik just in power cable, and dont boot up the main screen

my problem was
the e3flasher nor clip not installed correctly

i put some Paper over clip

Now how to fix this ?? just downgrade without the original backup ?? because the game just still on in Fun Mode. i dont have any idea to fix .

Hi guys.
I found that when I tried downgrading, I installed the downgrade.bin file and it seemed to automatically go into service mode without the dongle inserted.
After I powered off and restarted my PS3 (Slim), it shut off on it's own as if I had inserted the downgrade dongle.
Of course I was puzzled as to why this was happening and so as an experiment, I inserted my USB stick with the LV2 and PUP files without doing the START>EJECT process.
I watched as the USB appeared to be doing the whole loading process and shut off.
I then loaded my USB with the Service Mode Exit file and ran it.
When I restarted my console, WALA!! It was on the E3 3.55cfw

RSOD:
I somehow got the RSOD while playing around with my E3 and couldn't load my backed up files from the Micro SD as I kept getting 'failed to initialize PS3 Bios'. Though I checked all the files with NOR Checker and all were 100% perfect, so wtf??
Lucky I had backed up to the OB Flash and so I switched to D-D-D-U-D-D and recovered my PS3 again.

UNBRICK:
Console turns on then off like YLOD when in PS3 MODE, but when you SWITCH to FLASH FUN console stays on.
Solder the wire as in the manual. No need to remove it
Load backup files to Micro SD and insert
Turn on console U-D-D-D-D-D
Press START on E3
If fails to initialize, try U-D-D-U-D-D to load from OB Flash (worked for me)


Just some findings that may come in useful to someone else

Sounds like me, your console is already in Service Mode
Proceed with the Step 1 for downgrading (LV2diag,PUP files)
When finished, do Step 2 to exit Service Mode

All switches down
USB Stick in right port with LV2diag, PUP files only

Power off completely, then turn on console
USB should start loading

I do what you tell and still the same thing.
I make a pendrive with fat32 with LV2diag, PUP files only (step 1) in root and put into right usb port, switch down the switches and power on the console.
The console turn ON and after 1 second turn down again. I think the NAND that was flashes isnt the original , When i Use another bkpps3.bin that i download from web i can still the console ON but without Boot_OS and withou Video, it complicated when lose the original NAND file. Any one make the downgrade without the original NAND file???
