PS2 Savegame IS possible on non BC consoles!
Yeah I don't know why people keep informing that it doesn't work, it worked perfectly on my FAT 40GB (Non BC) console with Cobra USB.
So far ALL games I tried for fun are able to save and load transparently. Dunno if it's worth a video or photo proof or something but if you want I can provide anything you want... The only issue I noticed is the same as PCSX2 and the Partial Software emulation consoles that while you savegame the emulator drains alot of procession power and the music/emulation in the background kind of stutters and it takes like 30 seconds to save, but other than that its OK... It makes me wonder if the savegame issue is only on Slims, it's weird, I just mounted to port 1 a PS2 virtual Memory Card on XMB an dit worked!

Ps2 games , none of them work with my slim with cobra, and so setting to turn it on in mmcm :/ tried loads of times , any ideas?

My dongle is updated already mate been doing it since 3.0 . So I could just reinstall the cobra firmware I guess ? Just didn't know what you ment by payload
