I hope this is sarcasm...? So they graduated from LOIC to a bot net (although it is still LOIC). These idiots deserve a gold star for the day!

EDIT: I retract my previous remark about it still being LOIC (I commented directly after reading the linked article). Whoever wrote the gawker story is an idiot. All the link does is constantly send a GET response to a various host. Makes me want to gather a bunch of friends, all go to the same website, and constantly press "F5", lol. Anonymous, the "leet hacker group", strikes again! No-one is safe.

This is borderline creating a bot net full of unwilling participants. I'm sure this will be adapted (or may already have been, it's not hard) to run completely transparent. How would you like to be part of an illegal act such as DDoS'ing a site, without even knowing it? I for one, cannot support such actions. Rather it has, or will get to a completely transparent state, it's still a bot net and is the wrong way of "anyone doing anything".

it is always about the money !!!

when they are going to learn piracy will always be on the net !!!and now some guys with a lot of money decided to close some sites (competition) this will upset many people and the will pirate even more this time with a lot of hatred

AND WIL BE ONE RESULT MORE PIRACY AND THEY WILL LOSE MORE MONEY

earlier today, like at 2:30 i think i was uploading a file to megaupload (no not illegal :D ) and it froze at 42% went to megaupload and it just went done lol
