Dean, do you mind sending me w/e you sent Kapa? I am also still on 3.41 CFW and have actually been posting in this thread for a few pages now asking for information on how to get MM 4.0 working with 3.41 CFW. If you need me to test something PM me and I'll be sure to post back results.

BTW welcome back man

Ok, so i tested the .pkg you sent and it does work BUT... After every game load, after quitting the game and attempting to re-open MM it appears to load then kicks me back to XMB. If I reload MM again, immediately, it WILL load but I then get the same error about the firmware version. Now if I restart my PS3, upon loading MM from a fresh restart I DO NOT get the Firmware error and it works. But same thing, after loading a game and after quitting the game and trying to re-open MM, I get the above results.

Only a restart of the ps3 corrects the firmware error. I thought at first it had something to do with my games having their gamedata installed externally but this is not the case. I then loaded up an emulator and produced the same results.

Thanks for the quick response Dean, I'm sure you will have an idea of what's going on with the test .pkg. If you need me to PM you my results just let me know. I don't know if you want your thread filled with these messages. Thanks.

Thank you for taking the time to test it.

I'm sending you something else to test (via PM). Please check it and report back. Do a clean restart and follow the steps you described (although it is not really necessary to play the game).

That did it, test_2.pkg worked! Everything I tried worked as normal, thanks a lot Dean, I'm sure all us 3.41 CFW users are going to be thankful.
