i'd leave it as is.. very handy being able to hide all them files that could get deleted by others.

Anyone want to try and rename the category_game.xml to category_game_tool2 and copy over to dev_blind/vsh/resource/explore/xmb/ to see if that enables the Filemanager in the debug xmb. it should work without any issues but im not able to test at the moment.

Good idea, Ill add that into next version or maybe release two. Ive already got a version without the big long info msg ready but want to add some more before i release

afaik you must edit on gametool2 either root or root_dex

@ devil - ive just tried copying over the rebug VSH.SELF, but nothing is showing, i think there has to be a text file that accompany's it

Ok, sorry about that, my mistake, been looking at too many files lately. I just said that because I did a file compare on dev_flash before after applying the debug menu with rebug selector and the only file that changed was vsh.self, but maybe it changes something that isnt on dev_flash, anything thats not on dev_flash I know very little about.

Dam, Ive missed the pub now, Fek, gonna have to find a party now, byeee!

devil303 there's no reason why it shouldn't work on fw 4.00. But you would have to edit the 4.00 .rco and add your bits in, so the new/renamed stuff in the game catergory remains working
