Thanks for the update, I think its fairly safe to say it will probably work fine with all 3.55 FW unless someone has modifed the same files before, then it will overwrite thier mods.

P.S. Ive spotted a small bug which is that in the R version it shows D in XMB.
No problem to fix next time.

So that means if a stable 4.00 custom FW was made , everyone could just upgrade to it no problem, isnt that good news ! @ps3hen : Can you confirm that this XMBFM works on 4.00 pup you have made as that would be worth a main post update I think? (ive seen what you say about major bug but just wondering if the file Manager is functional when its booted up?) P.S I reckon your bug could be due to yourr FW trying to write to a registry option thats not there or not accessable or something like that or it wouldnt be ok when just pulling the plug out, it must be something it is writing or trying to write on exit. maybe..

I can confirmed your XMB file manager does work on FW 4.00 with retail and debug vsh.self. That is, provided they are ported properly to FW 4.00 which isn't hard. Also the FW has to be patched to show "Install Package Files" (and variants like your XBMFM), like my modified firmware. I'll make a video so you can see your work working on FW 4.00.

If thats the case about the firmware bug, then purhaps the FW is trying to use incompatible .sprx plugins. Thanks, I'll look into it.
