Factory Service Mode
I'm just doing some final research before I get progskeet. From the tutorials I read I heard you need to put the ps3 into Factory Service Mode. Most people do this with the USB dongle. I don't want to buy the dongle. Are there any alternate ways of doing this without the dongle?

My current OFW is 4.0. Which dongle do you recommend I get, and which steps would I follow in setting the dongle up to allow me to enter Factory Service Mode?

You can't enter factory mode on 4.0, $sony changed or removed something so it's not possible anymore. |
