I'm pretty sure kakaroto has something more.
I highly doubt he's hen requires a e3 flasher to install. I think he has found an exploit you can run directly on ofw4.0

Thanks, but credit where its due, ps3hen did most of that, I only used notepad to mod a few files. all the major mods and testing etc were done by ps3hen. Props to him for it really!

P.S, This doesnt needa flasher to install as such, this 4.00 "CFW" will install from 3.55!

Updating to another CFW after that might be impossible though without a flasher.

That's what I mean. If you are already on 4.00 you'll need a flasher. You can only install this if you are on 3.55 or below. Kakaroto's hen will install on OFW4.00 .
Anyway, great work Devil303. My ps3 is at OFW4.00, so I hope this will lead to a breaktrough down the road. Maybe a pkg that will crash OFW4.00 and lead to an exploit.

its been said many many times since 3.56+ etc if and when there is a next cfw or cfw type thing you will need to be on 3.55 to install it . the only way i can see there been i proper cfw 4,0 + which anyone can install is 3 ways 1: ask sony to give you the keys ( wont happen lol . 2: the keys will get leaked out ( could happen but i very much dought it 3: decrypting the fw fully inculding .pkg files etc some how but as i cant see that happening . i go back to what i said earlyer . for anythink ppl will need to be on 3.55 . the cech 3011a was made for a reason unlike the other ps3 that was made before the " unhackable slim"
