Yes there is a 3.55 signed version of Firmloader 0.3 on here somewhere.,

Yes its great, you just put a copy of all the dev_flash folders directly onto the root of your USB stick (use a good one)
so it will look like this in windows if your usb stick is F:/:
F:/vsh
F:/sys
F:/data
etc
etc...rest of dev_flash folders.

Then run the app and it boots from usb Fw, so you can mod files on pc and quickly run them on PS3 without writing to actual flash. And if it does RSOD "semi-brick" you can just hard reboot (turn of back switch/disconnect power) and your back to normal. Safe and easy , you could literally paste your CV into a xml and you will be ok

If you want to swap other files like vsh.self you need to run them of flash but dont worry about that, lots can be done with rcos and xmls.

So if anyone wants to give me some help with this, like maybe modding the other languages, either adding the english versions to the other xmls or actually translating the entries if you can, up to you. Im too busy for now..

For the people who want to help, who already understand the basics of xml code, and can do mods / testing themselves etc.

Ive started a efnet chat : #RCOHACKS

join up if you would like to, be an easier way to bounce ideas off each other etc.

Question modifying rco and replacing sprx

i have modified a few rco's and sprx's on 3.41 and replacing a few from your 4.00 dump have been using the firmware loader to check my modifications. I was able to create a psn account fully after i modified a few sprx's rco's and edited a few certificates. is this possible or it regular when you change the firmware version to 4.00 to be able to create an account?

With the settings you put was it more or less the same as video?
Will this work when displaying only at 480 (Running on an old SD TV oh the fun...)

Yeah it'll work for you too XD just edit the same lines in "layout_grid_table_480.txt" the values will be different just back up and experiment with what looks best... my guess "0" is dead center.
