Preparing External HD for a PS3 game?
Hello
I need to purchase a bigger internal HD for my PS3 but for the meantime I am going to use my external HD to play my games with my ps3. I have a couple games backed up on my PC and I was just wondering the steps I first need to take so I can just transfer my ps3 game backup to my external drive. I have this link http://www.pshomebrew.net/wiki/PS3_B...atibility_List and all my games will work via external. So it will be good just temporary though. I know once the backup is on my external it will boot and play with MN right? Any help is good! thank you!! =] Last edited by steveojp; 01-23-2012 at 04:33 PM. |

Multiman will boot them. Just have the games in a folder titled "GAMES" without the " marks. Remember that the drive needs to be a FAT32 format and if the games have files over 4GB, they will need to be split.

You can manually check, or you can simply start transferring and an error will pop up saying it was not able to transfer due to size.

Oh I see it when I got on my pc but on my phone it didn't show. Anyways if it's more than 4gb I have to use a program to split the files right?
