Just rebuild the database/hdd and see if it will fix it. You can always replace the internal HDD with another one. Have in mind that if you send your PS3 to sony repair center, you'll get it back with OFW 4.0 and no JB.

@deank

I found a couple of issues with the folder "PS3_EXTRA":
1-It is not moved to the root of the USB if BD-Mirror is enabled.
2-The bdRESET tool does not remove the extra BD icon (ie. LittleBigPlanet 2)

The PS3_EXTRA disc results useful to show the required game patches and game info.

Also, please check the popup menu that appears when you press over the PS3_GAME folder, in the File Manager. There is some text overlaped...

Finally, a couple of suggested features for the text viewer:
1-Could you add the .SFX as a text extension?
2-Could you separate the horizontal & vertical scroll, mapping vertical scroll to Left stick and vertical scroll to Right stick? It happens to me that scrolling down text, I tend to scroll it to right too.

Hi, Deank, I am new to multiman and it works for me but two days ago, the default display mode (XMMB) does not display games on external or internal hard drives. I can see the games by using R1 to switch the display mode. May be I pressed some keys by mistaken and hided them. Can you possibly direct me how to bring the display back? Appreciate you help and thank you in advance. Andy

Aldostoos, Thank you. I think you are right and will try it tonight when I get home. I suspected it may be something to do with Genres because there are only two buttons avaiblabe one is Option and one is Genres. Will let you know the result. Once again, thank you.

Bitsbubba, Thank you for the answer to my question. The problem is soloved. I did press the "square" before but did not notice the change since there are many categories which are empety plus I did not notic the change of the category title under the game column title. Once again, thank you.

That's what the changelog says:

04.00.01 -

* Added new display mode (Board 5x4x5), replacing the oldest "Game list (plain)" mode
> "Board" display mode shows ICON0.PNG game images by default.
> You can use covers by changing the option "XMMB Game Icon Swap" in Settings
* Improved File Manager visuals when used in SD resolution (480p/576p)
* Fixed an issue, which prevented operation on CFW/MFW 3.41
* Added support for showing PSN titles in all display modes from internal/external HDD (PSN titles cannot be loaded and you have to put empty RELOAD.SELF in game's USRDIR folder to make it show!) (requested)
* Added lastGAME2 and bdRESET applications
* Added 11 new themes to the theme download section (total of 14 now)
* Updated 15 language files
* Added separate background images for Board and XBDM display modes (PSVBG.JPG and XBDBG.JPG)
* Updated multiMAN Original Theme (includes new images PSVBG.JPG, XBDBG.JPG, PBOX0.PNG, PBOX1.PNG)
