Gran Turismo 5

Hey there!

I upgraded my GT5 to newest 2.03 (i think it was), and can't play it on my kmeaw 3.55 PS3. Is it possible to play with any fix?

So yes, where can i find the fix.

So no, i need to delete which files to get back to 1,00?

Thanks

GT5 works all the way up to 1.09 on 3.55

Just download 1.05, 1.06, 1.07, 1.08, and finally 1.09 and run them with install packages files on the xmb.

you can get the game update pkgs here:
http://store.brewology.com/updates.php?letters=efgh, or you could time it right on the ps3 and cancel the game update before it starts installing the 2.00 update, its easier to just download the pkg's individually though.

I dont think so, as 1.09 update is 50MB, and 1.06 is 300MB

It's such a shame someone can't get their hacking head on and get around the 3.60+ key issues, because there is some awesome updates for GT5 we can't use on CFW.

As far as I'm aware v1.90 is the last of the 3.55 updates. Use any GT5 updates after this and your game won't work on custom firmware.

Update v2.00 is an amazing 1.2gb download. "The Spec 2.0 update, now live for everyone to download and explore, enables you enjoy a new and improved GT5, including interior views for all standard cars, improved physics and AI, faster menus and load times, additional functionality and control in the online racing mode, updated 2011 NASCAR cars, a gorgeous new opening cinematic movie, and much more."

Sadly, i doubt i'll ever see it with my own eyes.

As posted above, GT5 does not combine updates when they are released. You have to install them individually.

It's really not that much different. I bought the GT5 XL edition with nearly all of the released DLC packaged with it and, well, I could of just kept my pirated version lol. But the seasonal online events are great ways to make quick money some of them are 800,000+ credits a race.
