I have noticed that some PSN games can be played from external HDD, if the game folder (/dev_hdd0/game/NPXX00000) is moved to the GAMES folder on the USB drive. It only needs to have a BD game folder structure: /dev_usb00/GAMES/NPXX00000/PS3_GAME and leave the EBOOT.BIN, ICON0.PNG and PARAM.SFO in the internal HDD /dev_hdd0/game/NPXX00000

Once the PSN game is mounted with multiMAN, it can be launched from XMB using the
"★ /app_home/PS3_GAME/"

It would be convenient if multiMAN could verify these NPxx0000 games when they are launched and auto-copy the EBOOT.BIN (SFO and ICON) to /dev_hdd0/game/NPXX00000 if they are not present.

NOTE: Not all PSN games from external HDD work with this method, but many large ones do...

Yes. I just checked and you can make a blank notepad.txt file and rename it RELOAD.SELF
Then transfer it to the games USRDIR directory and restart/refresh multiMAN for the game to show up.

Just remember that you can't launch psn titles directly from multiMAN. Selecting the title will send you back to the XMB

All the regular MM features will work fine for you, Just without the Cobra Dongle you wont be able to use the cobra specific features in MM.
