help me im kinda new to this but i want to learn everything i possibly can... im on 4.0 is there a way to downgrade to 3.55 or am i stuck?..

ei I'm new in this and I'm not shure if I want to do it bucause I like playing online so I'm wondering if I can jailbreak my ps3 to have all the good things that come whit it and change the hdd to be able to play online so I think that my real question it's if the jailbreak files are saved in the hdd so I can have like 2 ps3 and well have it all so if someone can help me I'll appreciate it

if your playing online then this will not work. not even switching the hard drives. the firmware is not stored on the hard drive.

thx for the upload but it keep saying file is corrupted when i try to upgrade firmware any help would be nice thx :-)

what firmware is your ps3 on ?

4.0 But I followed All The Steps To Downgrade From The 1st Step To The Last Step It Said File Is Corrupted When I Tried To Upgrade Fw On PS3

it wont work , u need a hardware flasher to downgrade . eg progskeet , e3 flasher and that depends on , what ps3 u got slim / fat also depends on what factory fw the ps3 have on it from new

this Tutorial is called 3.55 Jailbreaking Tutorial because it tells you how to jailbreak a 3.55 ps3 which your ps3 is not

u need to search about ps3 hardware flasher called progskeet so u can downgrade fw , not sure how much it cost , there is no other way other than using a flasher
