Serious issue in need of urgent help!

Hi I just got through with reflowing my ps3 after it had its first YLOD (its a 60gig launch w/upgraded power supply ie not the super hot one) anyways.

I in my brilliance held my heat gun to the cpu like i was supposed to but for too long im guessing (the board kind of popped and sunk down) HOWEVER all that aside i put all new thermal paste + thermal pads on the board and also in my own brilliance decided it would be a good idea to cut a square hole in the bottom of the case to allow more air to flow inward.

so now that I have explained what I have done here is my problem.

The fan kicks on and into high gear almost immeadiately after the system boots up (kind of like when you plug the air vents on it) and it hasn't shut itself off yet (mainly because i **** my pants and turn it off before it goes balistic) im just wondering what one of my brilliant ideas led to this issue?

OH and if its possible (I saw some user on this website on youtube that built a laptop out of a ps3) so im assuming you guys are a lot more talented than I at this whole thing. Is it possible for me to pay someone on the site or for me to make a donation to the website and have a member water cool mod my ps3 for me? If not just some advice would be great.

well my origional plan was to build a plastic undercarriage for it with some air vents of its own (elevating it allowing more air flow) and put some external fans on it so it sucks in clean air

Dont bother with watercooling...the amount of money you will put in for an effective cooling will equal to another PS3.

Stick to fans.
