Sony employers got a special usb device too, on this usb device is a special license (it erase itself, if u plug the usb into a pc). they just need to plug the usb device into a ps3 and then they can play backups. but just sonys employers received such a usb device.

That actually makes sense if JBking dongles were getting bricked with TB updates or "suicide code"
TB team never released any recovery tool. If you brick your TB dongle, you either have to take the loss or send back to the seller you got it from.

Here´s what I read about this suicide code.

1. Some TB dongles were bricking and that´s when this "theory'? of suicide code popped up.

2. GaryOpa confirmed it. I don´t remember everything he said but the jist of it was that on Bootup the code checks to see if the dongle was tampered with. If it was altered the "suicide code" erased the TB dongle, bricking it.

3. ReBug says the same.

Ok, I know that noone from TB team should be trusted. OPA confirming it could just be an excuse for a ****ty dongle that bricks on alot of people, lol
But taking into account everything and the fact that JBking has a recovery tool I tend to believe it.

Who knows.
