I miss dreaming too. I think we all dream especially during REM sleep it's just a matter or remembering. I still remember my dreams sometimes but it's usually a bad dream for some reason. What I really miss are my flying dreams I had when I was a child.

Same here. Cant remember any dreams from the last 15-20 years

Maybe all the hemp i smoked as a teenager destroyed my brain

We all dream. There's a lot that we can't remember though. If you want to remember your dreams, try to write them down upon awakening. In the first 5 minutes of waking up you'll start to lose about 50% of your dream memories.

I too, haven't dreamt for a long time. Nothing like @japsander 's 20 years... but, it was a little while. Only recently did I start dreaming again. Starting to recall even ancient dreams 20 years ago randomly.

One dream I had every night for probably 10-12 years as a kid was kind of like the introduction to REM for me. I would see a bright yellow room, with only a stove in it. The stove would be heating up, and the door to the oven would be opening and closing repeatedly with thick, black smoke billowing out of it. And the room would fill with smoke until I couldn't see anything and it was just blackness. That's when (over time) I noticed I fell into my deep sleep.

I had a dream a couple weeks ago about my ex. Her best friend ran up to me and hugged me. She said "thanks for giving Ana that rabbit; she's so happy and loves it" I told her about it, and she said that the night before had a dream about meeting up with me, and I gave her a fluffy toy rabbit.

Dreams can be all sorts of things. I think/believe they're our subconscious trying to make sense and analyze everything going on, solving riddles, questions :P Learning us as we sleep.

They also creep the hell out of me. I've never had a nightmare as I've always been able to control my dreams. Had seen some weird stuff though.

It's also said that all of the faces you see in your dreams are people you've met/seen throughout your life. All familiar faces (to a degree); people you've seen walking around, family or friends, that girl in the porno mag you jack to :P

the flying ones were best tho. well not quite flying as much as levitating. lol, to take off i had to sort of just lift my legs up until i was in a sitting position and then i would lift up and glide.

Yet another one in the "can't remember dreams" category here.. Stocked up on more Amnesia just now, maybe that has something to do with it!

I used to have dreams all the time where I'd be walking towards something and it's like I'm being pulled by a magnet to my left or right (I think it depends which side I'm laying on). I'd be giving it all I've got, trying as hard as I can to keep walking straight, but it was like I knew getting sucked out the door* would be disastrous..

* last one I remember, was where I was picking up a drink in a shop, then walk towards the till and the magnet would kick in, pulling me towards the entrance/exit on my right.. It was in my local shop and it was even an old layout from years before that time.

Come to think of it, I'm sure it's a metaphor..

I dreamed that I was fighting Freddy Krueger in a pokemon battle. I won so he got pissed and turned super sayain. Weirdest dream I ever had xD

I have an experience but i wouldn't call it a dream. Not quiet a hallucination. I don't really know what to call it. I was probably in my late teens and i was snorting heroin then. I was in the shower and all of a sudden i was frightened because i had the feeling something incredibly evil was with me in the shower. Like a spirit. In my mind it was like it was talking to me asking me to choose a side. It was like one side of the shower was protected from a good spirit so i quickly went to that side and finished my shower quickly and got the hell out of that room. I never used heroin from that day on and have actually never told anyone that story because it sounds crazy. That was one of the most scariest moments of my life.

i had crazy **** like that from after effects of E/acid/speed the next day if i had enough the day before and smoked a lot to chill me out. sleep deprivation can do some weird things to you too.
