hello everyone. does anyone know if the new ps3 3dtv released in November 2011 has native support in any of the custom firmware mods? I am new to this for the ps3. The main reason that i want to mod my ps3 is to make it into a media player that will play any video codec you throw at it. i guess that i will eventually get into game backups and other stuff. for now, it would be for video. what would be the best cfw for playing media? i have a ps3 fat with a 160gb hdd. any help is much appreciated...

i dont think u be able to do anythink not even downgrade main reason becuse the ps3 factory fw will be over 3.60 .

well the ps3 tv don't have a ps3 in it.. so what firmware is ur ps3??

also ps3 can already do 3d movies and games, that update was before 3.55 I belive.. so just go for 3.55 cfw and showtime.

my ps3 is at 4.0. i know that i would have to downgrade it to 3.55 first. showtime, huh? thanks. i will look into it.
