Using the SDK you can illegally develop apps, games, etc ... for the PS3, but I'm not sure how the sign checking is implemented in 3.7. It's illegal to use this SDK without purchasing a license. Remember the XBOX 1 scene? All of those "emulators" aren't offered on scene sites, but in back alleys due to the fact they were developed using the stolen SDK's of it's time.

What this SDK can hopefully do is give some insight in how 3.7 stuff works and of course give the PSlight (or whatever it's named) some more *ideas* on what to implement into their latest builds.

Of course, if developers actually made homebrew games and apps they could use this, but again, would be illegal. There's really no good collection of homebrew for the PS3 scene other then MM/cMM, Showtime, a handful of emulators and that space screen saver (compared to the other current gen scenes respectfully). Forgive me if I forgot to mention something that someone else tends to actually like.

When I tried to extract the installer it said it was corrupted

actually if I understand correctly there are .self key and other stuff calculating functions, so basically DO MATH and you will be able to decrypt em... (just a thought)
