That only works if the japanese EBOOT is 3.56 or lower, which isn't in this case. FFXIII-2 was only released a month and a half ago in Japan.

Just take the package with the INF GIL/HP/CP and run it without the disc inside. It will do exactly the same as what people did replacing the EBOOt of XIII-2 with XIII. Not worth even bothering.

I BELIEVE this will become much like the Resistance 3 demo fix, that allows us to play the demo levels and no more. PLEASE PROVE ME WRONG!!!

@damingraham - Just because you didn't like 10 and so on doesn't justify you to not pay for a copy of the game. Just "go without" especially if you don't like them. If I didn't like something I wouldn't play it to begin with.
40mbps = 4mb/s

4MB/s, not Mb/s. Providers use Mb/s aswell so this is accurate. Just the same as a 3Mb/s connection will have a speed of 300-350KB/s.

b = bit, B = byte = 8 bits.

Man, my connection at it's peak is around 6100 KB/s. Once Richard Branson gets the finger out in October it'll be double that!

Think FFXIII-2 is out on Friday in the UK? Might have to take the day off work and tell the girlfriend I'm "busy" this weekend :D
