Cos the usenet groups the people want to use the most you have pay for, whilst torrents are free and if you have a good anti-virus you should be fine.

its not the groups that you pay for.
its the access to usenet itself and some ISP's offer free usenet access (although not advertised) you have to ask them.

others offer 2 day trials for free with no bank details needed. combine that with a disposable email address and keep re-signing up.

torrents are well known and an "easy" option for most


ive looked into things a little and the "MSELF" which apparently holds other files like selfs/sprx's etc and can ONLY be run from a disc.

sound familiar to anybody?

could be completely way off track but i thought it looked interesting and similar to what a couple of others have claimed

Yeah you can use P2P = Torrents, good antivirus. Something shady is happening on Usenets latetly.

Did you even bother to look at the history of that page on the wiki? The only authors are euss, an0nym0us and CrashSerious, I do not doubt their credibility at all and am quite disappointed that you could even suggest they would intentionally mislead you.

As you can see from that page, alot of time has been put into reversing the dongles and it has been confirmed that they are infact DRM, The DRM is not at all hard to crack. Not all information on the reversing is necessarily made public for the pure fact that the wiki and most of the editors are only interested in RE not piracy.

If you want facts, then don't rely on a wiki. Reverse the dongle yourself and find the DRM (or lack thereof as you would have it).

P.S: I believe JB-King cloned the hardware in the dongle itself, and run the TB firmware on it. Correct me if I am wrong.
