Im new to the scene so Ive got a question...

Im having trouble playing uncharted 2 so im switching to kmeaw firmware. Im currently running 3.55 spoofed to 3.6. To switch to kmeaw, do I install kmeaw through xmb or do I have to install OFW and then kmeaw? thanx in advance!

BTW, the megaupload links for kmeaw are down, can anyone post another link to the firmware?

I managed to find everything I was looking for, still cant get uncharted 2 to work so Im gonna try ebootfix to see if I have any good results.

Ive never used any of the spoofs. but if your using rebug ( anyversion ) except 3.41 yea . you can just install kmeaw from XMB. ive done this many times from kmeaw for rebug rebug to kmeaw . no issues at all. im not to sure about the spoofing tho... you might have to remove the spoof or something . im not to sure . Im sure some one will see this and let you know. I think i heard something that if you have it spoofed you need to use the recovery menu .

try the select+x option. if that doesnt work try launching from app ps3 home. if that doesnt work. see if you can find a 3.41 fix and then use that if it doesnt work. you might have a bad rip. use your BD disk and re rip it.

Thanx for the help guys. Im uninstalled the spoof and installed ofw and cfw vis recovery mode on both. I tried using ebootfix and it doesnt fix my game either. It just stays on a spinning dagger. Ive read lots of solutions out there to this problem and still I cant fix it =( My last option is to try rebug so Im gonna go ahead and read some more on what I need to install rebug and hopefully, I might get this game running.

I figured it out. If youre stuck on the spinning dagger in Uncharted 2 its because you cant backup the game via USB into your HDD. You have to transfer the game directly via FTP and youre all set!

I didn't have to use ftp. Uncharted 2 plays fine from my external hdd. There is a fix somewhere on here I used.

Yeah mine played fine from external.
