PS3 BACK-UP GAMES HELP
Could I rent games from renting shops such as BlockBusters so that I can copy them to my HDD and then give them back? Would the disc not work anymore If I did this? Or could I just copy it to my HDD and then give it back and they won't find out? Also what do I do if you have to update to the latest version to play a certain game? I do not have a external HDD? Please help!!

If you did that you would be stealing the games.

Ahoy, that is piracy and is not tolerated here so keep that stuff to ur selfr. But to answer ur? yes and u will be ok. Some of the games that need updates we are not able to play but some of them have fixes so u need a fix. Try reading a little.
I do not support piracy for the obvious reason.

@Hamz75
I'm going out on a limb and guessing you do not have a 3.55 console. You cannot "backup" games to your hard drive in that case. In addition you are pirating, you are illegally copying those games. You paid to rent it not keep a personal copy of it. You are robbing the rental company of money they could've made from you renewing the game because it took you X number of days to beat it. Basically you are stealing, we deem this as piracy.
Backing up a game is acceptable if you OWN the game and are having issues with your disc drive or you are lazy like me and hate swapping discs. The idea is that you actually own the game (not a rental). PS: How you've come this far in life to not know what piracy is completely amazes me. Last edited by Elegant; 01-31-2012 at 01:48 AM. |
