Again, check your signal lines (OE, WE, CE, RY/BY). Not just for resistance, but maybe you've swapped two of them or something like that. And also, again, try CrackMyDay's method. Not just sort of, but to the letter. |

norpatch 4.10
I've updated norpatch.exe to recognize the new OFW 4.10 in your dumps. You'll find the download link in the 1st post of this thread (github)...

Hi, I'm preparing to solder my Teensy++ to my PS3.
What kind of cable it's better? THIS (the red one, wire-up 0,2mm) or this ![]() ? Or can someone suggest me a right cable? Thanks. The CrackMyDay's method can be use on different nor memory? Because i haven't the 3.3v regulator.. If yes, I need to solder the 3.3 input in all NOR Vcc or only in one of them? And please can someone upload the NORWay v0.4 beta12? Multiupload seems to be offline now.. Thanks. Sorry for my english. Last edited by sguerrini97; 02-13-2012 at 04:05 PM. |

But what's the 3.3V supply of the console? I was thinking that on the diagram was "NOR_Vcc", but in the diagram of my motherboard (JSD-001) there are 2 "NOR_Vcc".. And i'ts possible to run NORWay under linux? Thanks. |

Either one of the NOR Vcc pads will do. And yes, you can run NORway on linux, it's just a python script. But don't ask me how, I'm not a linux guy...

Yes that it, I just peel each wire off and use them to solder, it works very well for me at least. Ask around if you would like and get opinion on it. If you need a larger size use a floppy cable they work as well. I don't solder a lot but when I do I use those as its easy to work with.
