Soldering, if done correctly, is the way to go. With that said I am glad to see a dual boot solution and if I weren't in the USA and could afford such a product I would buy one right away (and rip the clips off and solder it on). I'm anticipating FFXIII-2, already pre-ordered it, but will be left with a dream of actually being able to play it.

Props to dual boot & down with the clips!
I too have it preordered.

The issue i have is i don't want to risk anything at all with soldering, i have no skill at it myself and i don't know anyone with the skills i trust enough, so sadly a NAND clip is about my only choice

There will always be issues with products in their early stages and thats acceptable, it might take a bit of time but i have faith they can make a decent one, and even if i end up replacing it once or twice its still cheaper than a PS3 replacement should something go wrong

Yes, after downgrading with e3 flasher, you can remove the flasher from the system and plug your hard drive in.

But if you want to dual boot, you would need the flasher still hooked up.

alright dudes here is my problem i have a friend who has accedently updated his ps3 to
4.10 now my question is does this e3 flasher downgrade from 4.10 and also i heard there are problems with the nor clip not goin on properly sometimes do they sell the clip seperetly if i end up stuffing it
i am always reading forums and keeping up to date and looks pretty straight forward
the ps3 was on kmeaw before it is a slim cech-2502a model and also can i go back on to kmeaw if it requires qa flaging back to 3.41 no prob is there anything else i need to no
at the moment i am telling the person if she ends up taking it to the shop and finds out
if it will cost $60 or more she is better off getting the e3 flasher at least if anyone has problems in the future we have the flasher and also can i take out flasher after its done
and also is there any soldering involved or is that just for the dual boot
