Exclamation Why True Blue is so bad

PRE STORY
uncovering some of the mystery surrounding the sublime art of 'True Blue Dongle' efforts have been made. Many users of the ps3 are upset that the developers behind 'True Blue' are keeping the information on how there dongle does it's thing, WHEN it could be made public to help the scene. We live in a world of free information, more and more is now hidden, things that should free knowledge have been buried deep in the ground. We should be against acts like this! What if everything for the ps3 that was ever released CFW, HomeBrew, ect. Costed money AND No one told how the secret was done leaving other developers in the dust. without information spreading and being "Open" we would not have had CFW well at least where other developers could make them and not just one person.

Why Should I be Mad
Well one reason is that this True Blue dongle is not using any of it's own code really, it's all higher FW. All the dongle is there for to make sure that you are on there CFW. The Ps3 in lv1 I believe if I remember right, authenticates the dongle then it will run the arguments. so basically the dongle is just a verification device to make sure that you can't take True Blue method and run on another CFW. Wrong right? Shouldn't this information be available, shouldn't we know how to do this, do they care about the scene? Well the answer is no. They are like a money hungry corporation. Do what ever they can to get money, but does not care about there customers.

Ending
There has been various efforts to 'Reverse engineer' the dongle. Sometimes reverse engineering can be the only way out of a tight spot in development, We are in one of these "Tight Spots". I am receiving true blue dongle and I will be attempting with some other devs to reverse this ans get what I like to call the "Golden Path" the main point in a dongle where the main event is going on.

READ:
One day a Novice came to the Master.
"Master," he said, "How is it that I may become a Writer of Programs?".
The Master looked solemnly at the Novice.
"Have you in your possession a Compiler of Source Code?" the Master asked.
"No," replied the Novice. The Master sent the Novice on a quest to the Store of Software.

Many hours later the Novice returned.
"Master," he said, "How is it that I may become a Writer of Programs?".
The Master looked solemnly at the Novice.
"Have you in your possession a Compiler of Source Code?" the Master asked.
"Yes," replied the Novice.
The Master frowned at the Novice.
"You have a Compiler of Source. What now can prevent you from becoming a Writer of Programs?".
The Novice fidgeted nervously and presented his Compiler of Source to the Master.
"How is this used?" asked the Novice.
"Have you in your possession a Manual of Operation?" the Master asked.
"No," replied the Novice.
The Master instructed the Novice as to where he could find the Manual of Operation.

Many days later the Novice returned.
"Master," he said, "How is it that I may become a Writer of Programs?".
The Master looked solemnly at the Novice.
"Have you in your possession a Compiler of Source Code?" the Master asked.
"Yes," replied the Novice.
"Have you in your possession a Manual of Operation?" the Master asked.
"Yes," replied the Novice.
The Master frowned at the Novice.
"You have a Compiler of Source, and a Manual of Operation. What now can prevent you from becoming a Writer of Programs?".

At this the Novice fidgeted nervously and presented his Manual of Operations to the Master.
"How is this used?" asked the Novice.
The Master closed his eyes, and heaved a great sigh.
The Master sent the Novice on a quest to the School of Elementary.

Many years later the Novice returned.
"Master," he said, "How is it that I may become a Writer of Programs?".
The Master looked solemnly at the Novice.
"Have you in your possession a Compiler of Source Code, a Manual of Operation and an Education of Elementary?" the Master asked.
"Yes," replied the Novice.
The Master frowned at the Novice.
"What then can prevent you from becoming a Writer of Programs?".

The Novice fidgeted nervously. He looked around but could find nothing to present to the Master.
The Master smiled at the Novice.
"I see what problem plagues you." said the Master.
"Oh great master, please tell me." asked the Novice.

The Master turned the Novice toward the door, and with a supportive hand on his shoulder said, "Go young Novice, and Read The ****ing Manual." And so the Novice became enlightened.

So why can't true blue developers give us information like the master does? Why can't they tell us where to find the manual? just ask yourself, is it fair that true blue uses non of it's own code and still charge for this dongle? shouldn't they release the exploit? Well yeah this could be added into a CFW
and we wouldn't have to pay for information that should already be free.

Just ask yourself them question and you should agree if you are in this ps3 scene!!!

I think TB is dying... you can see by the number of eboots been released recently... I am so glad I did not spend money on this, I am sure it soon wont be supplying new games.

stopped reading after post became an episode of Yu Gi Oh

When the team that developed TB, cant patch anymore games, maybe they will release their work for free. If I were you; I would just wait it out. Its not as if gamers on 3.55 aren't accustomed to waiting on newer games to be fixed.

Well quite simply, if you don't dislike TB, you suffer from a severe case of retardation.
