Ps3 Downgrade:
Hello guys,
Well am new here and thought id finally register on the site and i am realy happy with it already :D Okay , so around about 12 months or so ago when the whole jb and cfw all kicked off i was realy in on the scene . Ive kind of now just left it and moved on to xbox. But i decided it was rubbish and moved back , but now am lost . I know theres no downgrade or cfw for 4.00 soft modding and i am happy to buy a product to do so. I have 4 PS3's all together , 1 slim running 3.60 , 2 phats running 3.60 and one runnning 4.00 . Ive been reading about that e3 flasher and tbh i am realy interested in it, but i cant find any UK sites selling them for cheap. also been looking at the progSkeet which seems interesting to now there is a solderless solution. Just wondering which one is best? and what would i need for each one. Me and a few mates want to run fun game modes on cod (private matches) like zombie land ectt... Will one of those products let us do that? Sorry for the long post guys. Thanks ; Luke |

There is no softmod way of downgrading from 4.00OFW
Click on the banner up top labelled "PS3 Scene Status" and that will let you know which PS3 Slim you have can be downgraded via hardware flasher. All of your PHAT PS3's can be donwgraded. If you don't mind soldering, I would go the Progskeet way. Modding game saves and such....not my thing. Search the forums on that.

Here's some info on the Progskeet wiring:
http://www.ps3devwiki.com/wiki/Hardware_flashing As far as needing a BR Drive...some games require a ORIG PS3 Game disc (any) in the drive in order to play. Check here according to the game you wanna play: http://www.pshomebrew.net/wiki/PS3_B...atibility_List

There's a solderless option for the Progskeet also.
The ps3devwiki describes that too.
