can anybody tell if he has same error/bug running:

- Phyreengine: leveleditor comes up but, fails at this: Plugin initialize failed: PSP2TargetManager - ......................................................: 80040154.

- PS3SDK: have an error message saying no acces to components to download: ".........setting Dev proxy connexion...."

hmm, maybe try running the offline installer not the sdkmanager if you try to run the installation there it tries to access the update servers for the sdk, I kept doing that. When installing and you get to the sn systems installation make sure you install everything psp,ps2 and ps3 that seemed to work for me. Remember to have visual studio 2008 installed before installation.

there has got to be a way to obtain 3.70 key information from this. i'm interested in the tools in it, seems you can master a disc with it, im wondering if a mastered disc is signed for 3.70. if so that would be awesome.


also its probably worth noting info about the emu_hdd. it sounds crazy as hell.

I got an error "Command Launch Target failed: Failed to launch on localHost - Timed out waiting for Edit Initialized message." when the engine starts up.

How can I solve this problem?

Just noticed i get this to, dont worry about it. It wont stop you from running anything, its just a psp plugin.

Judging by the message it only an error regarding the target manager, nevertheless you dont need to run anything thorugh the map editor. Try running one of the solution files in the samples directory, remember to select Win32Release build (as its faster than debug). Then have a play about thwith the code and alter that game first to help you get to grips with the framework.

Try the documentation there must be something on error codes.

PC Config. :XP pro, VS 2008 - SP1, DirectX SDK 9-10,...

1) for the SDK: it's ok (i just uninstalled the SDK manager, extracted the offline .exe and it worked)

2) for Phyre Engine: when i run the LevelEditor (in Tools), it still try to run the "ThirdPersonGameTemplate.exe" at start, but hangs on... i have a debug message from vs8 that i ignore, but then in LevelEditor no way to create/edit a new level (green button). Even importing .dae models gives hanging bugs...

So i tried loading a sample (from Samples) directly from VS8, chosen the Win32Relase and played it ==> it build all ok without any errors, but the rendering window "ThirdPersonGameTemplate (GL) " hangs on too.... Is it due to a graphical power or ???
