This is what I have done with mine rsod 3.55

enter recovery M. update ps3 with 355-NOTHEROS-RSOD.PUP and run rsodfix.gnpdrm.pkg

After I did this.

1. install fsm pkg
2. downgrade from 3.55 to 3.41
3. plug in my psjailbreak usb device
4. go till install package folder
5. select fsm pkg and it will give me error 80029567

how can I fix this?

hey, hoping someones willing to walk me thru this one

i have a 160gig slim ps3

its currently on OFW 3.70

it accidentally got updated right out of the box, i have no homebrew running on it currently.

i have a 8gig usb (kingston datatraveler 2.0) formatted to FAT32

in the root of the usb, i have " FactoryServiceMode.gnpdrm.pkg ", and i renamed the .self file included in the package to " Lv2diag.self "

i plug it into the usb port which is the furthest to the right on my console. i can tell that it recognizes the jump drive (as it shows in pictures, music and videos menus), but when i go to the games menu, ' install package file ' doesnt show up

any ideas ??

SCE_NP_DRM_??? 0x80029567 Package install error - You get this error on Retail/CEX + Shop/Kiosk firmwares on unpatched firmware (or without payload) - e.g. Kmeaw/fluke1's 3.55 + psl1ght made fself PKGs. You also get this error when using geohot PKGs on Debug/Dex.


translation: you are using official firmware, not a patched/jailbroken one

I cant update says need 3.56 or later in recovery mode.

read some where its spoofed?

Is it jailbroken if I have downgraded the ps3?
and use ps3jig to install multiman etc etc?

I need to make it fsm again to downgrade one more time or I have to buy jig device to make it fsm.

ps jailbreak device, I only have the jailbreak jig and not the downgrade jig.

hope someone can explain to me what I can do
