please read front post and some posts and all will be revealed.

Personaly i dont like dongles as im cheap like every1 else here excluding very few. Devs spent many hours developing hack without thanks all they get is stupid questions such as when is the new hack coming out. And can i do this/that. They have a donation button that many of yous whingers fail to do. So in support of some devs this could be a way of getting something back

I guess that's an "ok" update. Except most if not every ps3 user has they ps3 set up wirelessly...who the hell would do it wired? lol On top of that both ways would be incredibly slow. Games would load ten times slower. Because either way it still has to do with the connection, and if u got a fail connection like I do...it will be useless.

um, a lot of smart people have it wired. most of my friends and i believe, and know, everything is faster wired. i think my internet speeds are about 3x faster wired. besides convenience, wireless doesn't cut it.

This is the most important update to multiman since it got the ability to play games :P

This ELIMINATES the need to have an annoying USB drive hooked up to the PS3 and makes loading times much shorter too, singe Gbit ethernet is a lot faster than USB.

This isn't really an update to multiMAN as such since to use these features you need a Cobra USB dongle...

Why on earth would you use wireless unless you really had to?

Its slower, less secure, more prone to connection issues...

the speed alone says it all, and as lots of people here will be using ftp with their ps3 I imagine they would favour Gigabit lan with full duplex settings, not crappy wireless..

Your PS3 has a Gigabyte connection and so should your computer, connect the two of them directly to each other and you will be fine, or you can connect PS3 > Router > PC, either way 100MB or 1GB will be fast enough.
