Hello All!

With the weekly posting of fake CFW/JB/MFW's and such, I have 2 suggestions:

1) No one should be able to post until they've read the site rules and signed it by clicking the like button. This assures they have read the rules.

2) The amendment of Rule 5..

No posting of FAKE PS3 Custom Firmware/Hacks - This includes posting of all the fake youtube videos and files out there, if its real we will know first. This also includes the various scam websites out there that ask you to pay for features that are not possible. All the latest PS3 hacking information will be available for FREE on our front page.

I suggest an automatic 2 day ban because if they read the rules and signed it by clicking the like button and still persist to post fake crap, they deserve the ban to think about the error of their ways.

What do you guys think?

If nothing else comes from this at least the post block restriction should be enacted so they'll know for sure what the site stands for.

only thing is, how do newcomers know that they are fake?

i agree that regulars should know better though

maybe a rumour/fake section would be better suited where nothing in it is to be trusted until confirmed. a sticky with known fakes could help too

I agree with feeling sorry for the noobs who post about fake CFW...it's not their fault they weren't aware that mooses910 posted his 100th "CFW" in the last year.

Regulars should know better. So a 2 day ban is reasonable. Is this starting now or are you going to go back a couple of weeks and hit @HeavyRain with an infraction? Lol

No it won't, it would just assure they have scrolled down.
