@GregoryRasputin , @Annelies , I highly doubt people will read this. Look at how the top status bar is, people don't bother look around before asking questions. I seriously hope that they do read this. @Pirate could do something like making sure that they answer these questions before the new users can actually post so they know what's going on. Just a suggestion.

maybe something that'll help a little is having a minimum post count of ten before they can make a thread.
like someone said, maybe pirate should make it a mandatory read when someone joins or makes their first thread.
