Well you can indeed convert your PS3 Retail to a DEX one. Here is the tutorial HOW

 Thanks for the innocence, Cage. Yes, it allows running of unsigned pkgs and Install Pkg Files directly on the FW, no questions asked, even on latter fws, along with the debug options aswell@jackieboy8 , read what mathieulh said after. it misses a part

seeing all this good hacking news,reminds me of good old 3.41-3.55 days.even tho this is probably means nothing (yet) good for us,but still its nice to see progress on something,who knows maybe we can get decrypted eboots from test machine?

it's just stride after stride this weekend! I would like to voice my massive gratitude to everyone who has been involved with this development, the LV2 loader, and DEX firmware patching. We're moving at a really fast rate. I love this scene!
PS - the latest stuff by the Cobra crew is also amazing but I'm not too keen on DRM dongles! Hopefully this will be reversed and an open source equivalent will emerge! |
