it s normal that my ps3 bips one time and after tree times in 5 seconds and shut down?

I'm confused. Does this do anything on QA flagged KMEAW? It beeps 3 times, then reboots the XMB, but nothing's changed. (no DEX options)

Is this only useful for Rebug users?

With this and rebug firmware is as close to Cex to Dex you will get. unless you edit your eEID and risk a brick (very likely), or you get the right SIGs and hack some sony servers, or you get the required Algorithm to do it off line.

From what I have been following and hearing is that you can convert a CEX to DEX with the use of factory service mode and specific lv2diag.self and specific Sig files but this has yet to be completed (not sure if its officially worked on). From what I have heard these specific sig files makes a call home (sony repair center) and connects to the servers to get functions sent back to the PS3, This is a big no no as we don't want anything to do with those servers. A more in depth explanation will come out by a different user some time in the future (if he is still making such an explanation).
