Theres no telling when TB will stop, all people can base their judgements on are the current games that are compatible.

I do not usually post in these dongle threads. People are going to do what they want to do regarding these dongles. I cannot give you advise either way. I can only speak for myself, I have a hard time bringing myself to pay somebody for something pirated. It really defeats the purpose. If I really wanted to play a game that bad I would just go out and buy it. I'll be damned if i pay somebody to be able to pirate. I understand some people may say they want to legitimately play games they own.... Well then buy another ps3 and problem solved. Your other ps3 will not last forever and now you have another for when that happens. I feel much more comfortable DONATING money to dean k or any other dev then actually being required to pay. I will never own one of these pieces of crap.

Attention

this is the last time I will say this, leave this section for those who need it. This is for TB only. No bashing/debating/trolling. As much as it will pain me to do it, I will infract. Let's contain TB to this section. No bashing in here and the same goes in the other sections. Any baiting of any kind from pro-TB will recieve the same. Let's cut this crap out people

Cheapest second hand PS3 I can find that has warranty is £150, & thats a 40-60gb Fat. This dongle which is £55 & can do what I want that extra £150 PS3 to do which is play the latest games, Plus I can have homebrew on the same console. So....

1) Have a dongle that can play the latest games + keep all your homebrew on your PS3 (1 PS3 BTW).

Or

2) Have 2 PS3's... 1 for homebrew & one for latest games.

1/3 of the price, No consoles everywhere & HDMI & power leads everywhere... All in one. I go for NO: 1, But thats just me.

Well, The PC version of AC may be unplayable due to the DRM on it you could always buy the retail PC version and download the cracked version of it. Pirates are the only ones who don't get hurt by Ubisofts DRM.

Cheaper than buying the TB dongle. Of course if you just want to play it on PS3, or if there are other games available that are not available on PC that you want to play then it's TB/JB-king or OFW only.

*edit* also, if you're aganst buying PC versions of ubisoft games you can buy it for PS3, download the cracked PC version and play it on PC. This is all assuming you have the intention of buying it and not just straight up pirating it of course.

And you have all your eggs in one basket? If your ps3 dies you lose all your homebrew and buy another ps3 anyway? I prefer to share the load of my ps3's. Like i said, everybody has a preference. I was only saying what i would do because the OP was asking for advice. I just dont feel right paying someone to pirate.
Also I do not have Hdmi and power cords everywhere. I sort of take pride in making sure my stuff looks nice. But that's just me.

You can buy a 2nd PS3 and a TB dongle. You'll have 2 systems that play the newest games, 1 of which also has Homebrew.

to be honest i wouldn't buy it, but its up to you its your money at the end of the day. im from the UK also and if i was you i would just buy a second hand ps3 for £100, ive seen many on gumtree.com. its £50 for the dongle that lets you play newer games or £100 a extra 50 for another ps3 were you get to play new games and you get psn back, you could enjoy both cfw and ofw. also no worry of the dongle becoming outdated and useless then and you can play with friends. thats what i done

lol also were are you shopping, i bought a brand new 320gb ps3 from sainsburys entertainment before Christmas there on offer for £157. Argos is selling a 320gb ps3 4 games and playstation move for £250 brand new. games are mw3,bf3,lbp2,wee crappy one. move you could sell for £40 new to someone which is £10 cheaper then would of. mw3 sell for £35, Bf3 sell for £35 other two for £35 for both. if you done all that the ps3 would cost you £105 still only a extra £50 more then a dongle.

you need to look about bro when buying and also you need to know what to look for. try useing gumtree and buy local, people in need of quick cash sell there ps3 cheap for fast cash. my mate needed holiday money quickly and sold his ps3 1tb hdd, about 30 games, turlebeach headset, playstation move, 3 controllers for £300.

go on http://www.gumtree.com/search?q=ps3+...ch_scope=title there is loads there cheap. old ones from 80 up and slims from 100 up.

Well I have them all, TB Dongle, Cobra and a few PS3's. I personally cannot recommend TB to anyone. I'm lucky enough to have consoles that do CFW and 4.00+ OFW and i can honestly say that this TB nonsense has gone on long enough.

I bought one for Portal 2 and hoping that i would get more new titles but that hasn't happened. Look at the list...eboots were released on 25th December for some games, then a months wait?!!?? for the next releases which gave us games that were already playable or not worth playing at all.

Forget the 10 regular posters at the TB forum at crunch, they are just justifying their waste of money by talking the same crap and 'e-high5ving' each other day in day out. This thing appears to be dead and if you want to play Portal etc. just buy it 2nd hand.

If these TB monkeys had anything more to offer, why not show it? It would attract more business, generate more sales and prove doubters wrong. I'm ashamed to admit i wasted my money on this sheeite. Don't waste yours.
