But you cannot say that can you? I know religious 'fanatics' that will go to their grave thinking other religions are scum, but I also know some followers of the same religions that are more than happy to accept they may be wrong and are quite happy to accept anothers belief.

The topic here is not just religion, but it has the same underpinnings, and unless you know each and every person on both sides you cannot say what they want.

As I said earlier, I honestly do not think the ones in power on both sides want peace, but that does not count for every single person.

Iran isn't perfect, just like the US isn't and many others but Israel as a state (from a purely political perspective in the sense of how they were created, not it's people) have got to be the dirtiest country on earth. Mass-genocide against people on their own land that THEY stole and have continued to steal throughout history.

Disgusting, and the brainwashed reaction of some people in this thread sum up what the media has been spoon-feeding people for a long, long time.

Oh and for the record, I don't agree with certain things that Ahmadinejad has said over the years but just to clarify: he didn't say he wanted to "destroy Israel" he said he wanted the Zionist state vanished from the pages of time (which I agree) and before it inevitably comes up he also never "denied the holocaust" he just said such a significant event in world history and politics should be revisited and if you actually bother to educate yourself on the subject, you would agree with that too if you just opened your mind. Just watch some documentaries on it, there's even a Jew that has questioned the events of the holocaust called David Cole.
